The " Hal talam " organization is conducting a workshop for Arab media!



The media foundation "Hal talam" in collaboration with the International Academy for Training and Research organized an interactive workshop titled "Media between Populism and Modernity." The workshop was presented by Dr. Mahmoud Jaafar, the General Director of the Academy.

The workshop took place over two days on Saturday and Sunday, January 10th and 11th, 2022. It covered important key points that should be the foundation for every journalist and media professional. It included topics such as how to create a positive perception in the minds of the audience about any institution, especially media institutions. It also covered journalistic editing and news production, media ethics, ethical interaction between media institutions, common linguistic and grammatical mistakes, as well as discussing digital media and its role in influencing and transforming into a persuasive authority. Lastly, there was a special session focusing on legal education and awareness for those working in the media industry to understand the boundaries that should not be crossed and how to effectively address violations through legal means.

Additionally, there was a special appearance via the Zoom program with Mr. Omar Assi, the President of the "Hal talam" Media Foundation and website. He welcomed the trainees and explained the dimensions of this workshop, which revolves around creating genuine media awareness. He emphasized that the training journey will continue periodically through joint efforts between the foundation, the "Haltalam" media organization, and the International Academy for Training and Research. The ultimate goal is to reach a media that can serve society and contribute to its scientific development.

The workshop concluded with a speech by Dr. Mahmoud Jaafar, who highlighted the importance of correcting misconceptions and common fallacies that have become widespread. He considered that the training journey will not stop, thanks to the joint efforts of the foundation, the "Haltalam" media organization, and the International Academy for Training and Research. The main objective is to reach a media that can serve society and contribute to its scientific development. The trainees also had the opportunity to share their feedback, expressing their appreciation for the skills they acquired and thanking the organizers for providing them with this opportunity. They expressed their hope for higher levels of training to enhance their knowledge.
