Wagner Rebellion Exposes Weaknesses in Putin's Government, Says Blinken

According to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the recent rebellion by the Wagner mercenary group in Russia has exposed “cracks” in the government of Vladimir Putin. The mutiny, which almost led to civil war, could give Ukraine an advantage in its counteroffensive, potentially influencing the outcome of the ongoing conflict. Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner group, called off the advance on Moscow after a last-minute agreement was reached with Putin to prevent clashes between mercenaries and regular Russian troops. However, neither Prigozhin nor Putin have been heard from since the agreement was made.
