The President of China confirms his country's readiness to push the comprehensive strategic partnership with Peru.





 Chinese President Xi Jinping confirmed today, Friday, his country's readiness to work with Peru to push the comprehensive strategic partnership towards new horizons, expressing active support for the success of the leaders' meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum hosted by Peru this year.

The statements of the Chinese President came during talks held in Beijing with the President of Peru, Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, who is on a state visit to China, according to the Chinese news agency (Xinhua). The Chinese President said that Peru is one of the first Latin American countries to establish diplomatic relations and a comprehensive strategic partnership with the People's Republic of China, as well as being the first country in Latin America to sign a package of free trade agreements with China. Xi praised the fruitful results of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, noting that Chinese companies have played an important role in economic development and improving the living standards of the population in Peru through major cooperation projects. He explained that China attaches great importance to developing its relations with Peru, and that it is ready to work with Peru to strengthen mutual political trust, deepen practical cooperation, enhance mutual learning between civilizations, and promote multi-party coordination, thereby pushing the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries towards new horizons.
