Allegations of Data Gathering on Minors Through Xbox.

 Microsoft has reached a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission after being charged with collecting personal information from children under 13 who signed up for Xbox.



 As part of the settlement, Microsoft has agreed to pay $20 million and enhance its privacy protections for child gamers. The FTC found that Microsoft violated the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
